Security+ Training Course Overview
CompTIA Security+ is a global certification that validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and is the first security certification a candidate should earn. CompTIA Security+ establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. Logical Operations offers a five day (Monday through Friday) hands-on training class, in-person at our training center or accessed virtually through Zoom, on our standard public schedule. Class features instructor lecture/demos, along with hands-on activities and practice applying the concepts in our virtual environments. We also offer unique 10-day options (with an additional focus on networking fundamentals and additional time for hands-on labs) and boot-camp options (with exam administration immediately following the class). All students receive CompTIA authorized curriculum – including a digital textbook, practice exam questions, hands-on lab exercises, performance based questions, flashcards, and more – everything a student would need to absorb the class material and prepare for the exam (if looking to get certified).
Security+ Course Objectives
The CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) certification exam will verify the successful candidate has the knowledge and skills required to:
